General information

"House Under Linden Tree" is located in the beautiful valley of Trenta, the central part of Slovenia's most famous natural treasure Triglav National Park. The house is located just next to many natural attractions. It is 150 meters away from one of the Europe's most beautiful rivers, the river Soca. Because of its beautiful colour it is called the "emerald river." Near the house, there is the Information Center of the Triglav National Park and the Trenta museum. In the museum you will learn about the main features of the Trenta valley and its inhabitants. There are a number of places in the village of Trenta where you can shop or eat great local food.

The house is located on a beautiful, slightly elevated ground under the ancient linden tree, which is more than 170 years old. The location offers a great view of the beautiful surrounding mountains and river Soca. River Soca is 150 meters away form the house. Along the river runs the famous Soca Trail, which offers great walks for hikers.

The house is surrounded with a sunny grass garden with tables and garden chairs and a fireplace. While listening to the beautiful sounds of nature you can sunbathe, relax and be inspired by the surrounding hills and the valley of Trenta.
