In the First World War the Austrians-Hungarian authorities ordered evacuation of thedwellers and the village Čezsoča was exactly on the line between Italian and Austro-Hungarian army. All houses in the village were destroyed. Pierta Appartment holds a nameafter mythological female being Pierta. According to a legend Piertas were living in a Pierta’scave upon the village of Čezsoča, on the rocks of Polovnik mountain. Entrance to the cavecan be well seen in the autumn, during the winter and early spring, when trees are stillwithout leaves, direct from the entrance into a Pierta Appartment. Piertas were showingaround between Christmas and Holly Kings (6 January) and helped to parents to keepchildren home. Still nowadays a silence during the night in Čezsoča is really silent. Also inother parts of Europe similar beings appeared: Percht or Berchta (Germany), Befana (Italy),Tante Airie (France), Perhta (Czech Republic).

Čezsoča is a charming village of warm people, gorgeous nature and it is a perfect strategicpoint to the best Slovenian natural and cultural legacy. The Soča Valley is a true paradise forall nature admirers and families that seek peaceful but fun vacation. In warmer months SočaValley is perfect for different water sports. Winter offers skiing, hiking and sledding. Besideauthentic nature treasures places in Soča Valley offer traditional cuisine and numerousunique historical sites .

Pierta apartment is located around 2,5 km from the town of Bovec in a close vicinity of oneof most beatufil European rivers – Soča , in the center of the village Čezsoča, next to theRestaurant Vančar. Appartment has a separate entrance and a kitchen, bathroom, bedroomand living room with a balcony offering a marvellous view on Kanin and Rombon mountain.Apartment is standardly furnished with all necessary equipment. All areas offer free wi-fi.

Free public parking is possible on site. Price includes lodging, bedding, towels and VAT.

The valley of Soča river is called a »Valley of adrenaline«. Not more than 3 km from VilaKorošec you will find activities like: rafting, kayaking , hiking, climbing, mountain cycling,zip-line park, skiing, fishing and water sports are possible. The ski centers Tarvisio and SellaNevea in Italy are 35 min driving away and the ski center Kanin is 3 km away.

Location is of historical importance. In vicinity was the biggest mountenous battlefield in thehistory of first WW 1914 till 1918. Next to the building is a model that presents a battlefieldbetween Austro-Hungarian and Italian armies.

There is a restaurant next to the house. Shops, post office, bank and other services are inthe town of Bovec.
